January often feels ripe with the possibility for positive change- onward and upward momentum; hope for the creation and implementation of a better me. I learned a long time ago that New Year's resolutions don't stick for me, that my discipline fails early and often, and I am left to my own devices (know thyself). I have found that this type of reflective energy feels more powerful around my birthday, wherein I reflect on the previous year, look towards the future, and usually come out with intentions that feel more sustainable.

Enter this blog. For the first time in my life, I have been maintaining a regular morning journaling practice - now going strong for 9 months, and I have been feeling a pull simultaneously towards writing more as well as putting my artist self out there more - both for potential opportunities and for a reason to hold myself accountable to the practice of making/doing/moving. I don't have a particularly specific objective except to write more and share it, to keep my brain engaged, to stay curious, and to be more disciplined about being in a generative creative space. I want to do what I ask of my students - put myself in the vulnerable spaces of being creative, making things, being seen trying, and allowing myself to fail. None of this is new, per se, but there is a feeling of newness in the way I hope to share more openly and frequently.

Thank you in advance for being willing to read some of my writing! I look forward to sharing more about what is upcoming, including a commission for Space_Space Gallery/Boulder Arts Week, choreography for a play at the University of Colorado Boulder, and a foray back into swinging trapeze (for fun!).

Stay tuned <3

Plus, trading the augment in for a real, useful augment is a great way to set you in the right direction if you’re having difficulty building momentum.

Like many online shooters, Arc Raiders gives players a contextual ping that lets you mark items, structures, and enemies. While the ping is useful for communication, the thing I use it for most often is identifying what kind of ARC I’m dealing with. Because so many of the ARCs look similar, it can be difficult to tell at a glance if the flying machine making a beeline toward…

MMOexp POE 2: Facing Ervig, The Rotten Druid in Path of Exile 2 can be a chaotic and surprisingly tactical battle. While he might not be as mechanically complex as some campaign bosses, his explosive fungal projectiles and scatter attacks can punish unprepared players severely. In this guide, we'll walk you through how to locate this optional boss, break down his attack patterns, recommend strategies to defeat him safely.

Where to Find Ervig

You can encounter Ervig, The Rotten Druid, in the Grim Tangle zone. As the only optional boss in the area, his appearance adds a unique challenge that some players may miss entirely if they rush through. While player reports vary on whether his spawn location is fully randomized,…
